As part of their Community Health Nursing Related Learning Experience (RLE), the University of Baguio School of Nursing (UB-SON) extended their service to DepEd Tayo Bayabas MG School from October 6–10, 2025.
Under the guidance of Ms. Estifania Bacnagan and the leadership of Mr. Gabriel S. Abellera, the student nurses carried out various health-promoting activities including health teaching on proper handwashing, dental and personal hygiene, a feeding program, and a clean-up drive. These initiatives aimed to foster good hygiene habits, improve health awareness, and promote environmental cleanliness among the pupils and the community.

This community engagement activity embodies the core values of the University of Baguio — service, compassion, and excellence — while providing students with meaningful hands-on experience in public health promotion and community collaboration.
The School of Nursing extends its gratitude to DepEd Tayo Bayabas MG School for their warm welcome and partnership. Such experiences enrich the learning journey of UB student nurses and strengthen their commitment to becoming catalysts of positive health outcomes in the communities they serve.
