Baguio City, April 30, 2025 — The University of Baguio (UB) School of Nursing successfully conducted its Tripartite Curriculum Review at the UB Centennial Hall. The activity brought together key stakeholders from the academe, healthcare industry, and student body to evaluate and strengthen the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program’s Curriculum and Clinical Teaching Plan (CTP). The review aimed to ensure alignment with year-level competencies and the fulfillment of the program’s educational objectives.
The review was led by Dr. Helen Alalag, Dean of the School of Nursing, and Program Chair Elton John Delos Santos, with the active participation of level coordinators, faculty members, alumni, and student representatives. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in nursing education.




Crucial insights were also provided by key industry partners, who shared their practical experiences and perspectives on current clinical practices and workforce needs. Among the distinguished attendees were:

– Assistant Chief Nurse Jane Layagan, Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital



These contributions guided the identification of areas for curriculum enhancement and innovation, ensuring that the BSN program remains responsive to the evolving standards of healthcare education and practice.
