2nd Nursing Research Conference: A Resounding Success!

The 2nd Nursing Research Conference, themed “Evolving Frontiers in HEALTH Research: Trends, Innovations, and Future Directions for 21st Century Healthcare,” was successfully held on February 7, 2025, at Cardinal’s Gym, University of Baguio. The event brought together esteemed speakers and nursing professionals to discuss groundbreaking topics in health research. 

Dr. Erlinda Palaganas delivered a powerful motivational speech, inspiring nurse professionals to excel in research and contribute to healthcare advancements. The conference featured insightful discussions led by Dr. Jun Corpuz, who tackled Ethics in the Age of Data-Driven Healthcare; Dr. Celso Pagatpatan Jr., who shared innovative qualitative approaches in community health research; Mr. Randy S. Occidental, who discussed nursing leadership and research-based hospital management; and Dr. Marilou M. Saong, who explored the opportunities and limitations of AI in health research.

The conference was actively participated in by professional nurse instructors from various schools in the Cordillera region, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among nursing educators and researchers. The inspiring presentations and engaging sessions left the audience motivated to push the boundaries of nursing research. To recognize their dedication to professional growth, all attendees were awarded PRC-approved 5 CPD units. The School of Nursing and the GSPNRI – Baguio City Chapter extend their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to making this event a remarkable success.
